Hi, happy New Year to you all. Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year celebration.
Now that I am back from NZ, I thought that I would do some work on my class star quilt today....but wait, the cat had other ideas! It is the first time that he has shown any interest in a quilt.....Not sure if it was Muffin's way of saying no to the border choice. Given that he had taken possession of the quilt top, I ended up working on my clamshell background block instead. He showed no interest in that.

Sewing for Sydney
Can't think of a better way to spend a wet Sydney afternoon than sewing these six little blocks for Mollie Sparkles' quilts for Tori Johnson and Katrina Dawson's families.
And thanks to you all for a lovely Christmas lunch, was such a yummy spread, spectacular setting and enjoyed with great company.
Merry Christmas to all,
C

Another one finished
The list for the number of quilt tops finished is getting lower but the number that I need to quilt is getting bigger.
Remember this one where I had the incident with the shirt I was wearing well, no more big shirts were cut in the making of the remainder of little shirts :-)

So when this one was finished I thought I would try something different and remembered the Square cushion on the made by Rae blog very easy and very quick and probably could have had more stuffing but great for the feet in front of the couch

and here is a finish for me, the Parsons grey, but I want to quilt it myself so hopefully it will be finished some day. Now to try to work out what to quilt....
Also Sue I think the person you were after is Richard Saja. I haven't managed to get the link right so a search will bring up some info.
Hopefully I can get more done before I see you all.
