Quilts on beds...

My turn to request some snaps from the weekend! Hope you all had a fun and productive day and enjoyed your 'power' session at the show in the afternoon. My sister and I had a great day on Friday, we were very restrained with our purchases and loved the red and white quilts.

The big news around here though is that in the space of one week I've managed to get 3 quilts onto beds! I used the drive to Canberra to finish off the binding on the boys geckos. So the hand quilting might not be done but that can wait for summer... So far they have been a big hit so all the hard work has been worthwhile!

This one has only been 6 years in the making, but was lovely to sleep under for the first time on Monday night.

 And here is the wedding quilt looking fabulous in it's new home too (this one was finished a few months ago but I was hassled for not showing the 'on bed' shot!

I forgot to get photos of the bride, or us all frocked up, but the Lego wedding cake was pretty cool!

So hoping to get some of the 'inspiration' blocks started before the next class, and would love an update and some photos of the day. Looking forward to next month...

In no particular order, here are some of the photos that I took from last months class… as always so much fun and great food!  Cant wait for our next class and seeing more progress from everyone.

I've finished my next "row" and am reasonably happy with how it looks - photos to come soon - as long as I don't look too closely at the seam points as there is a lot to be desired there!  Ciao Kim
