Kaffe's shirt quilt

So a day home with a little boy recovering from a vomiting bug at least has a productive outcome...another 2 shirts cut and sewn up. I'm totally embracing the ethos of mismatched stripes giving the quilt movement! Well-worn shirts seem to be rather tricky to keep straight!

In a pickle

36 blocks of Pickle-Dish Variation (Red Pepper Quilts pattern) - 30 of them pieced incorrectly.  I was going great-guns, too..  E

All done!

Photo quality is terrible but just wanted to show you that binding is finished and last year's quilt is all done! Big thanks to you all for your encouragement and to Denny for the reminder to attach the binding by machine, done is better than perfect! For now it graces our couch (or migrates to the floor....) hopefully the humidity will settle soon and it can provide some snuggliness.

Now onto this year's quilt...

Determined to get things finished before I started more

So some to show you when I get there and others too big. But most you have all seen anyway. Above photo includes the backs but so far Sue Spargo Chritmas, X2 baby quilts, Binding for the swoon and Kaffe, the flower, another baby quilt and then backs for every thing. So now to quilt. All the smaller ones I will do and any big ones off to the long arm quilter.

Anyway off to finish some more !!
