I'm feeling a tad dispirited as I face unpicking all of this, but no stretching is going to get these rows to attach together! Despite my best attempts at accuracy clearly I'm not there yet, luckily I have plenty of fabric....
Any suggestions on where I'm going wrong?

I haven't put mine together yet Caroline, but I did look at the size of that template before I cut it and I wasn't sure it was a 45 degree angle. I have cut mine with my ruler instead. Can you check the block with the geese in it is actually a 90 degree angle?

ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion Steph, I'll give that a go. I've sucessfully unpicked but am tossing up just starting from scratch again and seeing if I can do better second time around....before I launch into such drastic measures I'll check the template angles! C
