Hedley's Quilt

So apparently all I need to get moving on a quilt is a simple, small design and a brand new nephew to sew for! The top is all pieced, now just trying to work out which wadding I can steal from other projects...I knew I should have bought some more last weekend along with some spray baster (which brand were you all recommending?).

Hopefully Hedley likes it, Cinnamon my cat is eyeing it off if he doesn't!

  1. Well done Caro - how satisfying is that? I use the Birch Craft Quilt Basting Spray bought from Spotlight for about $13. I roll up the top and the batting after having laid them out and trimmed them all to size. then I spray two rows at a time - back to batting, top to batting and roll them out until done. Soooo much better than the safety pin story. This spray washes out perfectly. Happy quilting and looking forward to seeing the quilt next month. D xox.

  2. Hey Caroline love the zebras. It's great getting something small done and so satisfying. Although I don't know if when i get home and start on all the big ones I have to finish (I think 7 at last count ) it will be as satisfying M
