Happy Holidays

There is not too much quilting going on at the moment, but I am about 18 hours into a two week holiday from work.  There may be some exciting news on the job front shortly .... I will keep you posted, but let's just say it may be a step towards better mental health, less teeth grinding and a happier relationship with my family.  Fingers crossed.

I have been sewing.  I made a Christmas dress with some AMH linen cotton mix from my favourite Tessuti Lily Linen dress pattern.  I wore it to work yesterday and did get a couple of compliments.  It is IDEAL for Christmas functions as you don't have anything tight around your middle parts. I can't rotate the photo for some reason, so just put your head to one side ....

I am also trialling a make-up bag pattern.  This is the first proto-type, which I am gifting to a swimming buddy tomorrow.  My lovely drawstring bag from Elizabeth is being well used for hexy crochet.

A safe and happy Christmas to you and those you love best.  Specially thinking of you Marg!  xx

  1. Gorgeous dress! And good to hear the job situation might be on the up. No sewing going on here though, just general family chaos!

    Happy Christmas to all too,

    Love C
